Service Description

You will be picked up from your hotel at a time convenient to you, and chauffer driven to Windsor. During the morning you will enjoy tour around one of the King's residence, Windsor Castle, including a visit to St George's Chapel, home to many royal weddings, including that of Prince Harry, and the blessing of the wedding of King Charles to Queen Camilla. After lunch in a local gastropub you will be transported to Oxford for a walking tour to take you on a historic journey from Saxon times through to the present day. From the Radcliffe Camera to the covered market, and past various of the colleges on the way. The day will close with a visit to Christ Church Cathedral to enjoy Choral Evensong, sung by the choir of Christ Church College. On the second morning you will head to Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, ancestral home of the Dukes of Marlborough and birthplace of Winston Churchill. After lunch you will head to your second UNESCO World Heritage Site of the day, Stonehenge. Stonehenge remains a mystery in today's world. Created over 4,000 years' ago in stone probably transported hundreds of miles, the stone circle is perfectly aligned so that the sun rises through the north eastern entrance on Midsummer's Day. Our third day will start in the Cotswolds, exploring some of the most beautiful villages in the country, and home to many artisan workshops. After lunch we will head to Stratford, for a tour around one of the most beautiful medieval cities and Shakespeare's birthplace. In the evening you will have the option to go to a performance by the Royal Shakepeare Company (for an additional cost and subject to ticket availability). On the fourth day you head back to London, with a stop off at Cliveden House on the way, formerly home of the Astor family and the The tour includes: Chauffeur driven luxury vehicle Hotel accommodation for three nights including breakfast.
